This tool is used for deep cleaning of female RCA panel or cable connectors and male RCA cable connectors. Its function is to clean oxidation due to moisture, temperature changes, etc., created over time, directly on the inner and outer surface of the RCA connector. The RCA Cleaner, is sold in a kit, consisting of three tools and a 15ml dispenser bottle, containing a liquid that is applied directly onto the RCA connector. You then insert the cleaning tool and make 3 to 5 complete rotations. Once finished, the dirt removed can be checked directly on the white terminal of the cleaning tool. This can be used 5 to 10 times. Afterwards it must be replaced as the slightly abrasive surface is also worn away. The RCA Cleaner was also produced by SONUS FABER, a well-known manufacturer of HI-END loudspeakers, many years ago. Weighing only 5 g, it has a length of about 50 mm, and a width of about 13 mm.
